Restrictions Lifted for Perth and Peel Regions Effective 12.01AM Sunday 14 February, 2021

Despite the removal of restrictions, the requirements applied prior to the lockdown continue to be in place.

The following Western Australian Health COVID-19 restrictions remain unchanged.

  • Restrictions on entry for persons to hospitals i.e persons in quarantine, or persons with symptoms consistent with COVID-19

Unless you are a patient at our hospital, you cannot visit if you:

  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • have returned from overseas, interstate (resided, visited or transited through a known declared hotspot in the last 14 days)
  • have been asked to self-quarantine
  • have had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • have a fever (37.5 degrees or more) or a cough, runny nose, sore throat or breathing difficulties, loss of the sense of smell or an altered sense of taste.

Routine health screening remains in place at our hospital entrance, before patients, visitors and any persons wishing to access our hospital may enter.


  • Visitors who have been in Greater Melbourne, on or since 29 January 2021 will be restricted entry.
  • Due to the recent COVID-19 case in Greater Melbourne, anyone who has been in Greater Melbourne on or after 29 January 2021 cannot enter a hospital unless 14 days have passed since they were in Greater Melbourne or they have received a negative COVID-19 test.
  • Visitors may be requested to provide evidence of the negative COVID-19 test when entering a hospital.

If a visitor has been in a public exposure site as listed by the Victorian Government Victorian Government they cannot enter a hospital in Queensland for any purpose unless they have an exemption for an end of life visit. They must get a COVID-19 test and quarantine for 14 days.

Reinstated Hospital visiting hours
In the interests of our patients, staff and visitors, visiting hours have returned as follow:

  • Monday to Friday : 3:30pm – 6:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday 12:30pm – 6:30pm

Face masks

  • Masks are no longer mandatory.
  • Masks are encouraged to be worn in hospital areas if social distancing isn’t possible.

Get tested
If you have any symptoms at all, get tested immediately and quarantine at home until you receive a negative result.

We will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and follow guidance issued by WA Government and amend these measures as necessary.
