As part of this relationship, we provide a range of psychiatric services to eligible defence force personnel, veterans and war widows, including:
If you're an eligible veteran or war widow, you won't have any personal expenses for treatment at the Marian Centre and you won't receive an account. You will, however, be charged for pharmacy and personal items not related to your admission diagnosis.
You will need to have a DAN number prior to admission so your account can be sent directly to the Australian Defence Force for payment.

Accommodation consists of private rooms with en-suites. The Marian Centre has one shared room with a shared bathroom, located on the ground floor. Naturally you'll share a room with a person of the same gender.
Some veteran and defence force patients are eligible to have transport arranged for them through the DVA. Patients can pre-arrange transport vouchers with their general practitioner prior to their admission to cover their journey to and from hospital.
Alternatively, please contact the DVA.
