Organisations
Department of Veteran Affairs
Marian Centre is a preferred provider for the Department of Veteran Affairs. As part of this relationship, the Centre provides a range of psychiatric services to eligible members.
Australian Defence Force
Marian Centre is a preferred provider for the Australian Defence Force enabling Defence Force personnel a range of psychiatric services under Marian Centre services.
Health Department of WA
We are a licensed private hospital under section 26C of the Hospitals and Health Services Act 1927 as approved by Department of Health WA.
Australian Council on Healthcare Standards
We have full accreditation under the EQuIPNational Program with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).
Universities
Students
Marian Centre accepts medical, nursing, occupational therapy and psychology students from the five Western Australian universities and nursing students from TAFEs.
Notre Dame
We have a partnership with Notre Dame University with our Nursing Graduate Program for recently qualified nurses.
TAFEs
We mentor enrolled nursing students from North Metro TAFE for their clinical placements.
Community Services
We also have a close relationship with the following community services. Some of these services regularly visit and present their services, where they are located and the referral process to patients and supporters who are interested.

A rehabilitation service for adults with a diagnosed mental illness. Services include help gaining work skills, recreation, education, social support and advocacy.
Arafmi Mental Health Carers (now known as ‘Helping Minds’)

Arafmi Mental Health Carers WA is a carer-based organisation formed by families who experience the loss, loneliness, stigma and isolation of caring for loved ones with serious mental illness.
Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs)
Personal Helpers and Mentors Service (PhaMs) provides increased opportunities for recovery for people aged 16 years and over whose lives are severely affected by mental illness, by helping them to overcome social isolation and increase their connections to the community.
JOC (now known as NEAMI National)
Provide a range of support services around, practical daily living and being healthy, helping people with experience of mental illness to live in the communities of their choice.

Aim to support people with severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs and their carers and families, by getting multiple sectors, services and supports they may come into contact with (and could benefit from) to work in a more collaborative, coordinated and integrated way.
