Professional background
Dr Lee qualified as a fellow of RANZCP in 2009 with subspecialty certification in old age psychiatry. She has developed special interests in Substance Abuse, as well as Pain Disorders. Her further studies, including the completion of her Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care, Masters in Geriatrics.
Dr Lee has performed complex and varied medicolegal assessments and is a Trained Assessor of Permanent Impairment (SIRA NSW) and is an AMS qualified in Western Australia.
In the public sector, Dr Lee now works as a Psychiatrist at Drugs and Alcohol Service for Youths in East Perth. She works at the Marian Centre in the inpatient and outpatient setting. She also works as an old age psychiatrist in the public sector one day a week. In the past, she has worked in inpatient, community mental health as well as liaison psychiatry.
She has recently completed Masters in Health and Medical Law at University of Melbourne and is currently undertaking further Masters in Addictions with the University of Adelaide/ King's College London.
Dr Lee has had expert witness experience at the Supreme Court, District Court and in the SAT.
