Professional background
Dr Vincenzo Mondello is a dual qualified medical specialist in Pain Medicine and Psychiatry. He is the Founder and Medical Director of The Anodyne Centre and co-Founder and Medical Director of Modalis. The Anodyne Centre is a multidisciplinary and holistic pain management clinic. Modalis is a medical service offering transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy for the treatment of various psychiatric, pain and neurology related indications.
Dr Mondello predominantly works as a Pain Specialist and is proficient in interventional pain management procedures. He has particular expertise in the nexus between psychiatry and pain incorporating treatments such as ketamine infusion therapies, stellate ganglion blocks and neuromodulatory techniques including TMS therapy.
Dr Mondello currently consults from The Anodyne Centre in Subiaco and the Mandurah area. Dr Mondello holds clinical appointments at St John of God Subiaco and The Marian Centre Hospitals where he works in the capacity of a Pain Specialist and Psychiatrist. He works closely with the Oncology, Palliative Care and Acute Pain Services. Dr Mondello has spent a year at Next Step Drug and Alcohol Services, having experience in addiction medicine and is a former CPOP prescriber. Other areas of interest include cancer related pain and opioid use disorder in the pain medicine setting.
