Dr Amit Dahiya

Dr Amit Dahiya is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 30 years in Medicine and more than 20 years in Psychiatry. He provides care across Marian Centre, Oqea Cares, and Cygnet Psychology, offering a compassionate, forward-thinking approach to mental health.

Dr Dahiya’s clinical expertise spans General Adult Psychiatr and innovative treatments for complex and treatment-resistant conditions. His areas of interest include psychopharmacology, pharmacogenomics (using genetic insights to guide medication choices), psychedelic-assisted therapies for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD, and ketamine therapy.

He integrates conventional psychiatric care with evidence-based nutritional and environmental medicine, taking a holistic view of mental health that considers biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions. Guided by a strength-based philosophy, Dr Dahiya supports recovery by building on individual resilience and personal strengths.
